This is going to be short....starting chemotherapy on June 5th. I'll be on a chemo cocktail of three lovely drugs with some crazy side effects, hair loss being one of them. The chemotherapy schedule is once every three weeks for about the next 4 and 1/2 months, then radiation starts a couple of weeks after. My goal is to have my last treatment by the end of the year, which is pushing it.
I usually make my posts filtering my emotions because I don't want to scare my family and friends.....you may not see this in upcoming posts. I am very, very upset and having a hard time dealing with what is happening to me and to us. Yes, a positive attitude is great, but right now I am not there or anywhere close.
