The desert is beautiful! The combination of orange, red rock and blue, blue sky made me want to take a ton of pictures. I took these photos with my cell phone and I think they are not half bad (well, except for the finger in the one picture). Eddy and I stopped in Red Rock Canyon, which is a state park off Hwy 14.
After visting Red Rock Canyon, Eddy and I wanted to move our camp but decided against the change since it would have been a great deal of work. On the next visit to the Mojave we can stay at Red Rock Canyon for a couple of nights (before it gets too hot and the snakes come back out).
We actually did all of our camping off Jawbone Canyon Rd. The scenery was not nearly as wonderful as Red Rock Canyon but we could ride the dirt bike and ATV pretty much anywhere we wanted in the area.
Time for a little house cleaning!
