Hanging in there

I am feeling better each and everyday. The thoughts, good vibes and prayers must be working. White blood cell count was good along with the platelets and red blood cells (means the Neulasta shot that makes me hurt all over is doing its job).

My next round of chemo is on 7/17, which means I will be half way done!!! Yippy!!! I do dread the upcoming treatment and days following but know there is an end in sight. Once the chemo is finished in mid-September, I am doing seven weeks of radiation and hope to be done by the end of December (just in time for our 5th wedding anniversary). Everyone cross your fingers I can pack all treatments into 2008 since I've already met my $2500 deductible and $7500 out of pocket maximum.

Today is my 43rd birthday! Suzanne, my sister, is taking me to lunch for a little celebration. I want to try a new restaurant that opened on Pacific Ave called Khyber Pass (Pakistani food). Eddy and I will probably go out for dinner this evening, not sure where.

Time for me to get back to work! Enjoy the weekend.

Happy Birthday Cheryl! We love and miss you lots. You're in our prayers and we can't wait to see you. We're tentatively planning to come down Friday, July 25th after a class I have in SF, and stay through Saturday.

See you soon!
