Eddy is in the living room watching MotoGP (for those of you who don't know, international motorcycle racing.....very exciting stuff) and I am sitting in bed with a cup of coffee and the laptop. Lefty, our cat, is sleeping in Eddy's gym bag. Everyone is enjoying Sunday morning! I know by next weekend I will not even want a coffee so I am savoring the one right now.
We picked up Eddy's motorcycle from the shop yesterday and headed to the mall to spend my birthday present from Grandpa Toci. Retail therapy is wonderful! I now have two shirts, one salmon pink and the other turquioise, along with a pair of sandals to match the second shirt. The shirts look fabulous with the opal earrings Eddy gave me for my birthday. I have to say, Eddy is one of the best shoppers! He always gets me great presents and I know Eddy puts a lot of thought into them.
On my birthday we had dinner with our friends Lionel, Jen and Amara at Caffe Lucio. Food was delicious but the best part of the evening was watching Amara eat capellini! Amara does a great job with a fork and even tried to twirl her noodles after seeing her mother do it. What an amazing little girl!
